The Krishi Vigyan Kendra Sundargarh-1 was established during the year March 2004. The center is working as district level resource center for technology assessment, refinement and demonstrates the need based location specific technology and popularizing the same among the farmers of the district. The KVK is also performing its activities in association and in coordination with different agencies working in the district. It also plays vital role for the capacity building of farmers, farmwomen, rural youth and field level extension functionaries through skill oriented training. Krishi Vigyan Kendra Sundargarh-1 is also supplies qualitative seeds and planting materials to the farmers for boosting agricultural people. Due to the sincere effort of scientists of the center KVK received award in Global Conference for women in agriculture.
